SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program description
Alabama Career Center operates an SMS program for people who ask us about career training. If you give your express written consent, we send text messages about the program you inquired about — an admissions advisor following up on your request, scheduling and confirming your call or orientation, answering questions, enrollment and payment reminders, class and externship logistics, and certification or job-placement updates once you’re a student.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking the text-message consent box on a form on this website and submitting it with your mobile number. The box is never checked for you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling in any program or of purchasing anything from us. You can submit any form on this site without agreeing to texts, and an advisor will still contact you by phone or email.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on where you are in the admissions or enrollment process. Most people receive a few messages per week at most.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Alabama Career Center does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates will apply according to your plan.
How to stop messages
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop sending you texts. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again. You may also email us to be removed.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us any time at admissions@alabamacareercenter.com. Our admissions team is available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Central.
Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is outside our control. Supported carriers may change without notice.
Privacy
Your mobile number and your consent to receive text messages are used only to communicate with you about Alabama Career Center programs. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
